Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.

  • We were referred this experience by an old Spanish friend and thought twice before contracting, as we wanted to spend as much time at the beach as possible. We contracted and spent an unforgetable experience. Next time you think about the south of Spain, forget about the beach before having a real "tasting" where the real Sherry is born-both in Jerez and the incredible Sanlúcar. Sherry is both tradition mixed with the best fresh food you can imagine. Nothing to do with typical tapas you may have in mind - just a perfect blend of fine wine tradition, incredibly tasty vegetables (ooohhh these tomatoes!) and best seafood you may get, introduced by someone who really enjoys and knows his work - making you enjoy. Thanks, Antonio! I want to learn more.
