  • For me this place is worth a visit when the sun goes down and the columns begin to shine the light of the premises. By day seems almost asleep, but at night he awakens and showed his brilliance. To visit to take a nice cocktail in the square and breathe young.

  • It is a spacious and beautiful place where you can take a drink, it is cheap and popular. On the right there are a few kiosks as ancient and many bars with original decoration.

  • The plaza and statutes are ok but nothing great. If you are in the area it is worth swinging by to see them but don't make a special trip. There is some seating so it provides a nice place to stop and...  more »

  • Seville has a lot of narrow alleyways. So to come upon an open area like this is pleasing. There are a lot of great bars and restaurants too. A great place to hang out on the evening and late into the night.
  • Visited during the day, not the night. There is nothing special except for a large space where people can assemble mostly in pubs and restaurants around the square. Each of those are not particularly elegant or attractive. There is dirt on the ground and signs that a few shops are closed and abandoned since a long time.
  • It is a nice part of Seville town, with two Roman Pillars that were moved from the old Jewish quarters of the Seville area. There are few eateries with a nice family areas for people to hang out. There is a also a children's play area. You will also find that lots of people get their dogs here in the evening for a walk and play.
  • A must see if you do the tour-bus in Sevilla. Many restaurants and bars around. Be careful not stop there in Siesta Time because kitchen will be closed. Peaceful place. Do you know why it is called Path of Hercules?
  • The whole are is great. A HUGE choice of cafes and bars. Cafe Piola was our favourite

Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.
