  • Interesting visit to the House where was Antonio Machado while he was in Segovia after Béjar. Away from the bustle of the main street. You have to be interested in something this poet, because if not, you can detract. I liked and I've heard all the points of the audio guide included in the entrance €2.5.

  • This House-Museum of the famous Spanish poet Antonio Machado Antonio Machado Arrived in Segovia 1919 year and stayed here to live up to the year 1932. Along with other artists and scientists, he founded the people's University, became popular among townspeople. After the death of the poet of the people's University purchased the House where he lived, and opened a Museum in his name. In the garden stands a bust of the poet. In the room where the poet lived, still stands the same furniture, hanging collection of old photographs and paintings, drawings and posters on which the signatures of artists. The House is filled with mementos of the poet, of special interest are the portraits of the poet, remaining after the furniture showing life in the beginning of the last century, collected souvenirs and brush paintings and Leonora Guiomara. Many literary works that remained after the author. Historical and artistic value are documents, a variety of pictures and drawings of his brother Joseph, who also tell about the poet's life.
