  • We went in last Sunday bridge from November to visit the abadia de retuerta Winery could not see them and store bought some wine but realized quickly that prices are much more expensive than in stores! Will a joke... I understand that at the hotel to sell more expensive by the site, luxury... etc. But in the winery itself are much more expensive and as an example, we stopped at the village of aside Sardón de Duero in the hostel Sardon and they had all cheaper retuerta bottles, that we didn't nothing and the winery service was very bad... only had a small woman attending Ms. Nuria... who did not shine by their kindness and sympathy... We bought several boxes of white wine and told her that we wanted to try! And told us that we had that buy and pay the bottle to test that not has happened in any other Winery still buy among the seven friends more than thousand euros Magnums, salt, honey, boxes of wine... etc. the wine we like very much, we tend to go several times a year to visit wineries in La Rioja and the Ribera del Duero and I do not think that we will again this can not recommend it! • My wife and I were enjoying wine "dip". It really is a fantastic experience. We were accompanied by Sara who, although of Hungarian origin, speak perfectly in our language. Well... not only is to speak our language, is it really a level of vocabulary and better expression that many people Spanish I know. And there was something that, from my point of view, was decisive for this experience both battery and is who, besides being a charm and develop the visit well, knew how to answer and give a detailed explanation to all the questions that we did... and did many. Going in time of harvest is a plus since Sara was teaching us the property and leading to different "payments" (parcels of the land where some variety of grape is planted), and in the various stops was making, could keep trying different types of grape wine is manufactured with that: cabernet sauvignon, syrah, tempranillo... and can appreciate the differences between one and another. In addition to being late October the vines they were beginning to take the colors of autumn and it was all very nice. There was one thing that was part of the experience that stung my curiosity and taste wine "to make half" of the barrels. Super curious. And, of course, directed the wine tasting is a marvel. What caught my attention is that, to the tasting grapes previously, in some cases the taste of the wine reminded me of the grape with which it was made. It is possible that this expert is evident, but my, although I enjoy good wine, I don't consider myself an expert, I found it surprising. Finally, of course, is opportunity to acquire different wines which manufactures the winery. It is true that they do not sell them especially cheap. Nor is that they are expensive, but a friend who is a wine club member told us prices to those who buy them and here were in some cases at the same price, and in other cases few euros more expensive. On the other hand certain types of "pilot" wines that manufactured in very short productions and only sold in Winery here can be purchased. In short, a very interesting and very educational experience. It was really a very well spent money and something to recommend and repeat.

  • I have been there...a real dream in Vine Country .. this hotel resort DOMAINE is number 1 hotel in Spain in my travel memory,
  • Excellent wines and even better care. Thanks Alvaro! very professional. If the special selection is a very balanced and elegant wine, must prove the payment of negrolanda 100% Tempranillo, a limited but only Edition. Attend as well to those who enjoy good wines makes us the best ambassadors of their products

  • A wonderful place. As I was told it is an ancient Abbey which was abandoned some time and that a person from outside bought and restored conserving the decoration of the era with a religious character. Both outside and inside is beautiful, white stone and huge wooden doors. The size is considerable and maze-like Interior. It has several rooms equipped for weddings and events, hotel, Church, dining room, library Winery... The wine of the Abbey is almost compulsory to try and bring a bottle ;) The hotel is a luxury fully, the rooms are huge and bright décor with a touch more modern than the rest of the Abbey. Both recommended to visit and to enjoy one more stay long.

  • Hello!!! Just say that I've been this past weekend at the wedding of my friends Nacho and Eva. And been a fun wedding and staff who work at the wedding congratulate them on their work was everything perfect since our arrival until the end of the event at all times took care of both of my daughter as of the of more attentive wedding children of them for dinner and then took him to entrenerlos a while. My daughter was amazed of how that happened. All wonderful I've never been in a wedding like, and I've been in luxury hotels in Madrid's wedding but nothing to do with the of this weekend. THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF.
