  • Patron of the city, whose feast is celebrated on August 5, rises on the south side of the Plaza del Santo. His image with that of the founder is in procession on September 18, Thanksgiving. Tradition has it that it was built on the ancient and humble oratory that Made Santo Domingo. In 1487 the stonemasons Sancho and Pero Gil erected two walls and changed the position of the cover. In 1527 Master Hernando made the doors and the stonemason Yñigo made the roofs. To the south were houses owned that would be the first abode of the Cistercian nuns until the end of their monastery

  • Built in the sixteenth century in Gothic style. The hermitage stands on the south side of the Plaza del Santo and tradition says that it was built on the old and humble oratory that Domingo García 'El Santo' made. In 1487 the stonemasons Sancho and Pero Gil built two walls and changed the position of the cover. In 1527 Master Hernando made the doors and the stonemason Yñigo made the roofs. Thus he rose until it was finished with the current appearance in 1710. The facade is baroque from the early eighteenth century. Under the swordsmanship or bell tower, a niche with the image of the Virgin of The Romanist style of the sixteenth century. The hermitage had several destinations as it served as the first abode of the Cistercian nuns until its monastery was completed and was the site of the Brotherhood of the Holy. The Virgin of the Square is the patron saint of the city, whose feast is celebrated on August 5 thyson and her image, with that of the founder, go out in procession on September 18, Thanksgiving in the town.

  • Beautiful church is twinned with the Basilica of Santa Maria la Mayor of Rome. It is a genuine quirk of Romanesque art with an altarpiece of the high altar which impresses with its beauty and value. In the same square where the National Parador is located and in front of one of the doors of the Cathedral. Don't miss his visit which is also free.

  • Opposite the world famous church Santa Maria del San Salvador. Simple, beautiful, tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle. Remarkable altar, on the walls: small reliefs of the suffering path of Christ.
