Get up-close and personal with animals from six different continents at Zoo de Santillana, considered by the World Wildlife Federation to be one of Spain’s top zoos. Observe the resident animals at close range through daily feeding programs. Travel through the world’s ecosystems by visiting specially-designed habitats including the Tropical Garden, the Quaternary Park, and the Aquaterrium. Grab a bite to eat at the zoo’s cafe, also serving Spanish paella, or bring your own lunch to eat in the picnic area. • Interesting to see with children, very accessible for go cart place and there are quite a few animals. If it agrees to schedule you can see how they give them to eat. In my opinion a little entrance face adult.

  • After a visit of the medieval town, we pushed up to this zoo which I had known as exchanges of animals exists with the zoo Beauval. Despite a relatively high price (25 euros), really worth the visit! Special mention to the arrow route, allowing you to see everything, to my friend the lynx, the bear which one seems to have only one idea in mind: be the trunk! We spent 2 hours and they were really not boring! I highly recommend this tour if you're passing in the area, we become aware of the fragility of our species and the need to preserve...

  • Gives equal how many times visit you, because it always surprises them and love them. It is an ideal zoo for kids. A variety of animals and some of them stunning (orangutans and big cats). You fail the endowments (restoration) to be an attraction that cover more than 2 hours. Some routes are inaccessible slopes.

  • It is a nice zoo with alot of Fauna and alot of animales. You follow a easy walk through the park where you can really get in close contact with the animals. The downside is that the cage size is really different between the animals, there are some species like big fishes (like piranas) in way too small tanks as well as they have trown in turtles in other tanks just as small with big fishes (asking about this they did tell me they were looking for solutions, lets hope that happens soon). The cages of the bears where also quite depressing, just rock, no grass or other Fauna. But the area of the butterlies was amazing and the birds and monkeys were also impressive. Worth the visit and if you can donate some money to help improve the conditions of the animals, I recommend it.
  • Animals didn't have anything to keep them occupied and were in cramped concrete enclosures. Some animals were pacing (a sign of frustration). Made me sad. Lunch was also very poor. Don't go - go to Parque de Cabárceno, Cantabria, Spain instead which is excellent.
  • This Zoo like me much, it is a pity that it is so small and does not have many extension possibilities. It is a peaceful place where you can spend a good time seeing many types of animals. It has a stunning Tropical butterfly garden.

  • A very large, with many animals zoo. But some animals may be better able to more salubrious, as lions and bears, care. We had been in the zoo of Marcelle Natureza, in the province of Lugo, a couple of months ago and is very noticeable difference in the enclosures and care for the animals. Why the bears and the Lions gave us very sad in him of Santillana.

  • A very different zoo, it seems that you are in a garden. What more us to liked is that it looks quiet, well-kept, natural animals. Habitat of the species very achieved, are areas with animals that can leave, fly... and they return to the site because they want to... A different zoo that must visit.
