  • We were the past 11-day visiting the Museum, my wife, my 8-year-old daughter and a server. It is not easy to locate it because it is not marked (administrations have encountered...). Reception staff very, very attentive. The Museum surpassed our expectations. To spend a couple of hours without hardly to find out. They make school visits, guided or not. To repeat!

  • A very visual Museum is so the kids is very entertaining. With many curiosities and a large number of animals, fossils, minerals and meteorites. All for just eur 2 per person. It has brought us more than an hour and half take it and have learned a lot. Apparently there are guided tours. One in the morning and another in the afternoon. But there 20 people must be minimum. Highly recommended.

  • Well curated and presented. Worth an hour for the casual visitor, or two for the student of natural history.
  • Very interesting museum !
  • A little gem in Santiago. An economic luxury. Applies to children and adults alike.

  • Highly recommended for children and adults. It is in a park. It is very visual and they have everything very well structured. Part of marine invertebrates and the remains of meteorites has proved me particularly interesting.

  • Interesting and educational. For me only has a bug: does not explain is a historical collection, with copies in many cases from the beginning of the 20th century, which explains the true deterioration of some parts and give them, at the same time, an added value. The first Wednesday of each month admission is free.

Where to stay in Santiago de Compostela

Lodging in the city's old district is the most scenic option. Some hotels even offer rooms in renovated historical buildings near the cathedral. Consider a stay in Monte do Gozo, a small town just outside the city that offers 2,000 beds to weary pilgrims.
