The City of Culture of Galicia, Santiago de Compostela
(1/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Designed by American architect Peter Eisenman, the buildings of The City of Culture of Galicia look like rolling hills. After the budget ballooned from the original forecast, however, the developer halted construction. There is a museum that hosts temporary exhibits, but check online in advance to see if any interest you. • This is a place with enough infrastructure for better exploited is a site of great cultural events. I mean concerts of soloists, quartets or small orchestrate. A few years ago we heard there Mischa Maisky performing Bach and was impressive.

  • It's a really ambitious project. Wisely, the Government has suspended execution in the year 2013, differing it for later. Are in folder the "theatre of the Opera" and "Center of art international". It has given priority to other issues. Anyway what already has been executed justifies that tourists spend half a day. I think that when the project is completed, it will be highlighted by architectural design, whose authorship corresponds to Peter Eissenamn. Also, I think, should be content, because ultimately the culture is what makes man at work according to estimations.
