  • MUSEUM OF LAS PILGRIMAGES RECOMMENDED and WORTH OF VISITING this museum is located in a beautiful place as it is the plaza de Platerias in Santiago de Compostela. Their visit is essential to learn about the phenomenon of the pilgrimages and discover the birth and development of the city of Santiago de Compostela. It is in a renovated, modern and functional building. In its inside in addition to the impressive theme of them pilgrimages, there is precious sculptures, carvings and images. The visit is pleasant and is very didactic. Sometimes very interesting temporary exhibitions, in my case there is an exhibition of Russian icons from the collection of Santos-Illueca. The hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9.30 to 20.30, Saturday from 11 to 19.30 and Sunday from 10.15 to 14.45. The prices are reduced from € 1.20 and € 2.40 general. Tell that Saturday from the 14,30 o'clock and Sunday admission is free. Monday it is closed. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Visit this interesting Museum is highly recommended.

For my deserves much the penalty visit it to understand the because of the way of Santiago. The Saturdays and Sundays starting from the 14:00 is free.
