  • I love to go on Saturday morning. Santiago is in its purest form and take a straw before eating. If you do not miss it.

  • A proper working food market with meat, fish, seafood, and fruit & veg sections this was as picturesque as you like. There is even a café where for 5 euros they will cook any food you have bought at the market for you.
  • Incredible. Don't miss it by waking up too late. It is worth waking up earlier.
  • Best place in town, don't miss it. It's great both as a tourist as well as if you are living in Santiago. I go every week and get a refill of good cheap vegetables, super fresh fish and great meat and cheese. My favorite place in Santiago.
  • Local vibe, real local and fresh produce! We had a bit of oyster heaven with a local albariño and bought some bread and dips to take away. Wish we had been able to buy some of the amazing seafood around to take away!
  • Fantastic market in the middle of the Historic Center of Santiago. Full of local food, it's super nice having a walk and seeing the meat, cheeses, fruits or vegetables. They also have many restaurants and small bars which prepare the food available in the market, for you to taste it. It's definitely a place to go to enjoy the Galician food.
