  • This area comprises a large undertaking with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, as well as private villas and hotels. Well located is well-stocked and taxi next to the station of autobus. With a short walk you can reach the historic centre and Cathedral, or take the bus C11 circular with cost of 1 euro. I was staying here and really enjoyed it.

  • We approached Santiago de Compostela on Saturday. As not knew the Center commercial Area Central went beyond. The first impression in the virtually empty parking was if we had confused us in place. Once access to the shopping area we see that there is an Alcampo with some people. But the worst was when we decided to meet the trade area. Alone. Yes, a Saturday afternoon alone, nobody in the corridors. Most of the stores closed permanently, failed businesses, and the few that had open empty. But the most devastating is that at lunchtime in the more shabby commercial center of Spain unless someone walking, but here or a soul. Arrived to doubt if had eviction by threat of pump, an invasion zombie in course or any catastrophe that compel to evacuate the Centre commercial and not us had aware. Down already saw a couple of humans having lunch in the Gasthof. At the end we had lunch at the international brewery, incidentally that well served (just had people) and the food was not bad. We went there for a short ride by Alcampo and leaving almost €4 for parking more than two hours, when all the malls you enter and go without pay. We said there that opened a new Center commercial called As Gates very next with parking free and that that is an of the causes of the ruin of the Area Central. We went there and the truth is that that was another thing, many people, as it has to be at a mall one Saturday. We wonder how it is possible to keep a parking lot with high prices while ruins all over a mall and let die a site that architecturally it's not bad.

  • Good place to get out in the evening. Many couples walk and sit here and there in that place. In the night youngsters come out with drinks for hangout.
  • Expensive parking and not many unique shops. Sometimes there is free parking surrounding the mall, but you might get wet from the car to the place if it's raining.
  • Biggest mall at Santiago de Compostela and surroundings
  • Mall reminiscent of the old squares for slaughter. Retailers are freelancers who serve them with dedication and love, nothing to do with tasteless commercials. Pleasant for walking and shopping, very safe in case of evacuation.

  • Parking fee. The quasi-totality of shops have gone to the DC As gates, is Alcampo and little else. They try to convert it into a business center. It has a hotel. Pharmacies, bars and restaurants in the vicinity outside the DC
