Peninsula of Magdalena, Santander

4.7
Jutting out into the emerald Bay of Santander, Peninsula of Magdalena contains the Palacio de la Magdalena palace and gardens and two clean beaches for your lazing pleasure. Head to the peninsula's small zoo to glimpse penguins and seals. Check out the full-scale reproduction of the Santa María, one of Columbus’ ships that sailed to the New World. • The Magdalena peninsula is fine, never cease to be the gardens of the summer palace, they have nothing to draw much attention, except the location and views, that was conducted by nature, but they are clean and well-maintained. What call you the zoo, has a few sea lions, some seals and a few penguins, but facilities are somewhat obsolete, that does not mean that the animals are ill, but a facelift and an improvement for the animals so that they are better not wrong come you

  • We arrived at the magdalena and went to see children with the penguins and seals, then we went to the area of the monuments of the boats and followed to a great playground attached to the beach where children enjoy a lot went down.

  • A nice place to walk, play (playground for kids), sunbathe & swim, just enjoy a morning or afternoon.
  • Great place to walk around and see all sorts of cool things while always having the best view of crashing waves
  • Highly recommended place to visit and have a good time. Park, gardens and beautiful Palace. To the terminal in a bar that is inside the visitita we take and I was surprised the price very cheap to be inside the enclosure.

  • Impressive the Magdalena Palace and the entire place. Recommended to start the visit making it by train and essential to visit the interior of the Palace, beautiful everything.

  • Re-fuel if Viennese to know the city. Its access is free, skeptical to the interior of the Palace. It is worth to go your entire environment to walk. If you're coming with kids it is worth making a stop where the penguins, sea lions, step your arenal, see the orifice, the island of Mouro. Essential to make good day to be able to walk around the peninsula. It has an area with a slight slope to be able to access the area of the Palace.
