  • We went to a tour of the mountain, until we saw the Museum of prehistory, and he agreed that it was the free day to enter... Before entering you are figures of giant dinosaurs, traces of the same etc. and when we went into the Museum we liked animals prehistoric and curiosities.

  • I went with my two nephews in a few days of vacation to the new location of the Museum. The truth is that there is difference between the new and the old, but I think that it is small by the amount of objects that can not be exposed, but the truth is that the Museum is very nice and convenient to visit. They are modern facilities with recreations of the past. At the entrance there is a touchpad where you can dig in the different eras of our history (virtually). Nice vivista.

  • The Museum teaches us how it was the life of the aborigines, showing antiques, reproduction of them or explaining ways of life. It also has a section dedicated to ancient Rome, very informative and interesting, all of which are very well organized. It is worth a visit.

  • Great museum. Everything is well showcased in an excellent way. You see a lot of things and learn a lot all in an easy peasy way. It depicts the history of mankind in the area from the begining to the occupation of the Romans in Cantabria. Videos and representations are easy to watch and very useful! Really worth a visit!
  • Very interesting, interactive museum. I thought, it is another one of the same old same old prehistorical museum, but this is definitely worth to visit if you're in the area.
  • One of the best museums I've been to. You learn about archeology, human evolution, Roman occupation in Cantabria. It's a lot to take in but very much educational and entertaining.
  • A spectacular Museum! Very well organized, with modern technology to visualize your content and interact with visitors. The descriptions are written in Spanish, English and French, which is appreciated. The information is communicated in a fun way, and use questions to start each chapter. Essential for the lovers of history / archaeology, or those who simply wish to have a fun and educational time.
