  • The santanderinos us love, especially when it rains now that _lamentablemente_ is the order of the day since we can enjoy a coffee or a drink with confidence and safeguarded, in addition the market is beautiful. During the day it has many shops, a gallery of art that my love, flowers and terrace cafes, as if you were on the street. Great if you're with kids. In the part of down (very extensive) usually have very good exhibitions, markets, etc. and in one of its side is enter to the Museum of prehistory and archaeology of Cantabria. Although already quite made its reform (16 years) and re-opening we have been enjoying it relatively recently, I remember my childhood go ahead and see it in ruins, very abandoned. The construction of the market took place between 1839 and 1842; in the year 1986, was declared well interest cultural and already in the year 2000, the Town Hall led to out a controversial demolition and later reconstruction of the market retaining scarce elements original due to its abandonment and deterioration, although its design is of character old reiterate again that so only has 16 years, all its elements are modern, but precious for which enjoy of this type of architecture.

  • Others have said it in Spanish, cozy and little expensive place, pinchos are pricey and not the best in Santander. Restrooms are paid with a €0'20 coin.
  • Nice to visit if you're near, you can drink or eat something, staff was nice. Other than that, there is a tourist office, wine store and it is interesting that the prehistorical museum is right below it.
  • Nice spot ! They pretend everywhere that they have wifi but it is not working. For how long?
  • Es caro pero acogedor cuando hace frío fuera. Hay cafeterías y aveces ponen puestos y mercadillo.
  • Bunch of shops, and there is a good wifi connection.
