  • the truth is that we are suddenly in front of your garden, without knowing it. We climbed up, enter, a good mansion and presentation of the character. Nice an unexpected visit

  • Although they really are two different museums, are adjacent, and worth visiting them together for a little understanding this part of the history of Santander. Them two buildings is can visit free of charge, in general the library only this open for them visits until them 11:30 (since after it used them researchers) and although in a principle them visits are each half hour, depending on the influx of the public can that arrive and directly enter. The visit, lasting about 15 minutes, consists of an explanatory video of the life of Menéndez Pelayo and subsequently entering the library itself, at any time can make any question to the library staff. As for the House-Museum, the visit also lasts approximately 15 minutes, in this case, rooms only can be seen from the outside and is not a guided tour if not that there are information panels in each room. In this case the opening times are broader, from 9:30 to 13:30 and Tuesday and Thursday opens in the afternoon. Anyway, it is better to make schedules in the tourist offices. Highly recommended free visit.

  • This will suit lovers of books. Huge library of different eras a photo is prohibited, so for photo enthusiasts, there's no point in attending a walk to look at the books-it must be love!
