  • One of the very few beaches in Tenerife which has a golden sand. We were coming by car and some guy asked us 1 euro for parking per day. Not sure if we were scammed or if we actually parked into a pai...  more »

  • The beach is ideal for travelling with children, especially if they are very small, since it just waves and the sand is very fine. He loved them! At this time of the year had not many people and could walk and spend some quiet time, but due to its proximity to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (15 min drive) and fame among the tourist, I know that it must be filled in the summer. To get there is to go by car or bus, because there are no big hotels or apartments on the beach, if that is near San Andres, but is rather a qir fishing village has not lost its charm of the past. The penalty is that they are closing the bars, I guess that by the law of coasts, but I am not very informed. If there are no bars people will take anything on the beach, but there are land behind parking lot, perhaps could see other options. I guess that they will be negotiating with the City Council.
