The Museum de la Naturaleza y el Hombre is not only good to see mommies but also to get to know stuff our ancestors
Nice museum. The special thing about it's permanent exhibition are the impressively well kept guanche's mummies. Recommend to go Friday or Saturday from 16h00 to 20h00, when entrance is free.

I never thought I would find such an immense content of cultural heritage in a museum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There were specimens of nearly anything nature and history had to offer. The moment I came across the Guanche mummies, smiling at me sardonically, was the highest point of the visit. By the way try not to overlook the awesome collection of butterflies hidden in the drawers!
Interesting museum that have, both,a collection about the natural history of the Canary Island, but also about the early inhabitants of the islands.
This museum has a surprising collection of natural objects. The history of the Canaries is wonderful and don't miss the butterfly collection.
