  • Faced with some Uk style weather - i.e. rather cold and very wet, we opted to cut short our sightseeing and visit this museum earlier than we had intended. It is very good, very reasonable in cost and...  more »
  • From the South of Tenerife are one day we went to Santa Cruz, in the alternation of Sun-Sea-Beach. An interesting city to visit, although it rained the whole day. The museum is spacious on put and has a diverse collection. The texts in addition to the objects are in Spanish. There are English-language A4 sheets at the beginning of a room. The mummies are hidden on the top floor and impressive to see. Finally, we had lunch sitting in the cafe with delicious burgers.

  • En: I've been there yesterday afternoon (on friday and saturday afternoon it is free). I've lost in there for three hours! It tells the history and nature of Canary Islands, it makes you want to explore all of them. En: have been there yesterday afternoon (on Friday and Saturday afternoons admission is free). • Beautiful museum with nice staff. Good collections
  • Nice museum. The special thing about it's permanent exhibition are the impressively well kept guanche's mummies. Recommend to go Friday or Saturday from 16h00 to 20h00, when entrance is free.
  • I never thought I would find such an immense content of cultural heritage in a museum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There were specimens of nearly anything nature and history had to offer. The moment I came across the Guanche mummies, smiling at me sardonically, was the highest point of the visit. By the way try not to overlook the awesome collection of butterflies hidden in the drawers!
  • Good museum, nothing described in english unfortunately
  • Excellent museum , the Guanche mummies are indeed a highlight, especially in the evening time...
