  • De Las Nieves Natural Park is one of the most prized and valued of La Palma. Rock born waters that are the most important in the archipelago. Since the conquest, the water has been pumped to supply mills and sugar cane plantations which were cultivated in areas lower San Andrés y Sauces. Inside a fauna very rich vegetation such as the turque Dove and the Laurel pigeon. Complies with Los Tilos, one of the most impressive and well-maintained in the Canary Islands. In the time of the conquest as Río de Los Sauces. The first work of channeling were carried out September 2, 1503, by the master builder Don Juan Gutierrez. The name of Marcos y Corderos comes... Pedro Benavent, a wealthy businessman Catalan, to meet the spiritual needs of the owners and operators of the ingenuity of sugar, hired engineer Marcos to run water works, which brought such a lamb as director. Both characters are named after the famous springs, popularly known as "Marcos and Cordero".

  • Wonderful, idyllic, access a bit uncomfortable, but it is worth. Highly recommended. Laurisilva in pure State

  • One of the prettiest hikes I've done on the island. Went with Natour by what not me worries or of the travel (collected in the hotel, transfer in 4 by 4), nor the flashlights, nor of the helmet. Bring good Footwear, food and drink enough. Go through 13 tunnels, simple, crossing until the 12th, source of frames. 12-13 there is an important rise, 100 metres d drop in little stretch and reach the spring lamb. That no one expects large waterfalls, springs and the beautiful is the path that runs parallel to the river's water. Walk 4.5 d (a couple of hours going calmly, taking pictures, listening to the Guide on vegetation, pests,...) From lamb down 900 m d slope to Los Tilos, 3 hours down to good legs. You go through a forest of Laurissilva, spectacular. In case of not wanting to make the descent becomes by the same path ida d.
