(380+ reviews on the web)
Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
Bodegas Binifadet offers a free, behind-the-scenes tour of an architect-designed winery on the island of Menorca. They planted the first wine grapes in 1979 and opened doors to the public in 2004. You can of course purchase wine to take home on site or enjoy more than the samples by having a glass, tapas, or full meal at the on-site restaurant with terrace. They make a red and a white, both called Merluzo, a Chardonnay, and several other wines. Consider booking a tour in advance by emailing or giving them a call. • Was recommended this by a local man... I wouldn't normally go for this type of thing I'm not a wine drinker normally so this was an eye opener and the guide was very well informed... well worth a visi...  more »

  • Absolutely charming place. We came her for dinner (rather than a wine tour), and were seated outside on the terrace, under the vines. The staff are consistently very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, and the wine options are (of course), wonderful. We make a point of coming here with each visit to Minorca, and will continue doing so.
  • Beautiful place. It's a good idea to do the wine tour... For diner or a lunch the food is not exceptional, the waiters are kind but no commercial gesture if you make a mistake on an order.. But if you are visiting Menorca, I recommand you to go there for the wine tour and maybe to have wine and tapas
  • Fabulous. We went there on our first night as it was so close. We went back a few days later to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Planning to be back for our 30th. Make sure you visit this place at least once.
  • Friends and I had a great day out at the vineyard. We did the tour and tasting, then finished with lunch in the restaurant. The wine and the food are incredible as well as the lovely staff. The cod with pear aioli - magnificent! Loved the Meluzo White and the sweet red wines. I'll definitely be returning next time I visit Menorca and will recommend friends and family visit also!
  • We visited the vineyard for a wedding in 2016. The food was delicious, a particular highlight was the monkfish carpaccio! I also sampled most of the wines which were paired very well with the food options. Beautiful setting too and worth a visit for lunch or wine tasting.
