Watch the waves crash over the modern iron sculptures created by famous Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida at Peine del Viento. Built at the western tip of the Bay of Biscay between 1975 and 1977, the three-piece installation marks the end of the promenade around the bay, giving you a sense of destination once you have arrived there. • At the end of the beach are these figures inserted in the rock by Eduardo Chillida. Nice view on the promenade and strange holes in the floor where the air that compresses the waves beating in a cavity in the wall or under the firm exits.

  • After a long day of sightseeing, we went to the comb of the wind which is really a must-see for his spectacular work, views, and above all by wind tunnels since it is a real must-see show

  • Reach sculpture embedded in three rocks that emerge from the sea and suffer and enjoy the waves, is an essential experience for the traveler. In reality, experience is the entire environment. At the end of Ondarreta, should get walking on a paved granitic with Watchtower on steps of Pena Gantxegi. Arriving at the square, six holes communicate with a cavity in which penetrate the waves that compress the air, Jet expulsandolo. In the background the TXILLIDA tripartite sculpture. If we can see the whole with waves and high tide, we will be impressed.

  • Great tourist attraction. Don't miss the wind holes!
  • Nice place. Too famous. Hard wind
  • Its an amazing sculpture and a good photo opportunity right by the beach. Great for selfies.
  • Fun with waves and tunnels... And amazing sedimentary rocks to look at too
  • Beautiful spot, not so often visited by visitors since the walk here may be a bit long from the city centre. A perfect place to see the strength of nature and art. There is a bar close by, with wonderful views over the city. Great option to relax here.
