A collection of bars that regularly fill with visitors and young people sprung up in Parte Vieja during a tourism boom at the end of Franco’s dictatorship. Most of the neighborhood is dominated by 19th-century architecture built around the same time the walls surrounding the area were demolished. Take a tour of the fishing and recreation port, where you'll see a row of distinctive houses lining the front wall of Urgull mountain. The view of the houses from the port makes for a striking photo. Consider trying the fresh catch-of-the-day at one of the seafood restaurants. Put Parte Vieja at the forefront of your travel plans using our San Sebastian - Donostia itinerary maker.

  • No matter where you look, no matter what time it is: the old town is full of life. While there are at least as many locals and tourists alike. Drifting, to take a small bite at a bar again and again, that's enjoy with all your senses. Very much recommended!
