Combs of the Winds, San Sebastian - Donostia
(3.9/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
Watch the waves crash over the modern iron sculptures created by famous Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida at Combs of the Winds. Built at the western tip of the Bay of Biscay between 1975 and 1977, the three-piece installation marks the end of the promenade around the bay, giving you a sense of destination once you have arrived there. With frequent winds churning up the Atlantic Ocean, you stand a good chance of catching a lively display of churning water around the sculptures. • We were at low tide and had some great waves. I guess that with the high tide not will be accessible to the sculptures. The mesmerizing sea, above all his strength, spectacular.
