  • The beach of la Cueva is long and wide. It is very close to the port and it is accessed through a short tunnel which is located near the maritime station car park. To get there you have to go down a ladder because it is below the street level. The water of the sea is not transparent; the water, if seen from the air, has a cloudy and foamy, certainly not ideal for swimming. You don't even understand if opacity is given from pollution caused by the proximity of the port or from another. You can see the beach from a high point — from the garden of the Parador de la Gomera, where you can enjoy lovely views; from the South-facing terrace you see just this beach. The highlight is that it is never crowded (that reasons would be?). So, albeit useless for swimming, this beach is ideal for walking, of course with the right footwear, being an medium sized Pebble Beach.

  • Black Beach is located away from the bustle of port below the promontory. The stones were largely set aside cleared, so that you can get pretty good in the water. Beware however swell! Whose Karft is not to be underestimated! Opposite you can get climb a rock and from there your gaze through a tunnel, Teide included.

  • close to the port, virtually no visible, hidden behind a rock, you can go through a tunnel carved into the rock and enjoy the beautiful beach and views of the ocean and Tenerife.
