  • I was yesterday in this beautiful white Church of downtown San Sebastian de la Gomera to attend the Holy mass of 11. The ceremony was officiated by a priest and shared, touching that made a beautiful homily, saying things to understand even for the many children present, a Castilian clear and limpid. Putting always gives an idea of the place and the people who inhabit it; the inhabitants of this city seem downright cute. At the end of the ceremony I restrained myself to visit the Interior of the Church, which is vaguely colonial style, with numerous front and side altars of carved wood painted. Nice wooden ceiling at the end of the left aisle. The Church is located on a small square; It is suggested that you see it from the end of the alley located right opposite to photograph at best. It is certainly the most interesting monument of San Sebastian and at the same time also the most beautiful church of the island.

  • According to communications in this church before going to America prayed, Christopher Columbus. Even if that were the case, it is not in this but in the earlier Church. This was built in the 17th century. Beautiful colonial church with splendid altars. On the left side of the main altar, the painting on the wall depicting the defense of the island from the British.

  • Is a church with a very troubled past. Not more and not less. It is nice that the gates are always open, also at prayers (or what it's called).
