  • The Chair of Philip II is a viewpoint which is located in the forest of the blacksmith. From there there are unbeatable from the monastery of El Escorial views and all the Sierra Navacerrada in the background. The only downside is there is room to park and all over the world go there by car so it is very complicated circular longer than the road that arrives up to above it is very narrow and not it can handle. They should close to the traffic of cars the ascent to the Chair to prevent the agglomeration of cars. It can be a stroll

  • Something less than an hour from Madrid is this wonderful place. Nature and spaces diaponibles for a picnic (inclusion there is a bar up at all) and a stroll though personally I would recommend the forest of the blacksmith's shop to eat to be more quiet and spacious. It is worth organizing the day and take advantage of the morning to visit El Escorial or have a balcony by the village in the afternoon.

  • You can climb on foot or by car, if weather is nice and has all day I recommend doing the walking route that is beautiful and very well is to make it as a couple, with family or with friends. But if you don't have much time you can also climb by car. The views from the top are amazing, looks all el Escorial monastery and all the mountains that surround it.

  • If you upload from the Hermitage of the Virgen de Gracia there is a pleasant and hassle-free ride. It is nice, I recommend it.
