They are buried in the flower and cream of the Spanish sailors who are not buried overseas or at the bottom of the sea. Guided tours are wonderful and super entertaining, especially for children. I think that it is the only place in the world that contains a plaque with a prayer for the soul of the enemies who died nobly fighting our troops.

  • It is the Tomb where lie the remains of a multitude of sailors who have forged the history of Spain. Highlight the pool where the water of all the seas are poured where the training ship Juan Sebastian de Elcano transits on each trip of instruction. The Saturday guided by Sergio is extremely educational, entertaining and fun. Usually starts between 10 and 11 (ask at the tourist office in San Fernando).

  • An awesome place in which your superb guide explains the history of Spain from the small stories of those who have contributed to it. An experience to repeat and share. Thank you very much to the Navy to show and maintain the monument and to those who show it with such a level of knowledge, delivery, and sympathy.

  • Place impressive visit, do not doubt there are things that in our system of education does not count because it seems that Spain only undian boatloads of gold while us dedicated to slave and it is a pity that sailors and Marines be forgotten that way when he made such sacrifices for their country. DO NOT MISS IT.
