  • The Pantheon of illustrious marine is one of the must-sees in San Fernando, is located in the interior of the school of non-commissioned officers of the Navy, where sightless on about two and a half years, there are located the tombs of great sailors from Spain, currently I think must make appointment to visit it.

  • Beautiful building in which (guided) is a walk through the history of Spain and more specifically by the Navy. Interesting and, in my case, very entertaining explanations of the Guide.

  • In Spain there is no building with that particular theme. It would be the Church of the intended population military San Carlos in San Fernando (CÁDIZ) in times of Carlos III, which, for various reasons, only built that building, the headquarters of battalions, the Hospital of San Carlos (inexplicably demolished) and two adjoining buildings (just one) to the Pantheon that houses the facilities of the current school of non-commissioned officers. Its particularity is that mausoleums or burial in selo if they contain remains of people reviewed there, however all tombstones it placed on the walls, just remember those heroes, because maybe they were disappeared in naval combat or following the custom of the time buried in the sea. Extraordinary the High Altar, whose sacristy resembles marble Chamber of a boat outside. The impressive lamp silver of the Cruiser, and on the back in a round circular pool where it is poured all seas where Juan Sebastián de el Elcano crosses the school ship. Your guide, Sergio, will make you your visit very enjoyable and didactic, because with his unique style of explanation they troncharan of laughter and not to lose the thread of the story. Free entrance. If few, expect to set up a group and Sergio explain you, very recommended. FREE entrance upon identification the Control of aforementioned non-commissioned officers school
