  • Seen from the road that leads to Fataga, its left margin, never would have thought he was hiding among the rocks of a massive release of several thousands of years ago this Aboriginal group of burials. I went from hiking with some friends. And we went down from Tunte. The place is impressive, and with a good guide that explain what you see will not leave you indifferent. The beautiful views.

  • This is one of the most interesting sites of the island, but for those with mobility difficulties may be strenuous to reach and explore. The parking is about 400 meters from the entrance: a leisurely stroll in the small village of Arteara with some information points which make it more interesting. Arrived to the site there is a small visitor centre with some footage and then you can choose your own route between the main building and some addressees leading up to the mirador, the northern part, ect. I would recommend that you get them all, don't require much time, stopping to read all text and taking pictures, it takes about an hour. I suggest you use a sunscreen and bring water. The ground you walk on is a bit bumpy, being the result of an ancient landslide by a ridge of rock, sometimes it does feel a little lost and it's fun to look for the path. Altogether the experience I really enjoyed.

  • Quite rare and atmospheric to walk through an old graveyard and to see the geology causing the choice of location. Excellent explanation centre
