  • Impressive monastery. The guided tour is highly recommended. Guide was the best of the visit, explaining in detail the murals and the Church. The only problem is that it is has no access to the library or you can see how they are the rooms of the guesthouse. Despite this, it is a recommended visit if you're in Samos.

  • A spectacular monument on the route to Santiago. One of the monks organized guided tour of a friendly and professional manner. Lately I've read that they have closed to cal and singing despite being a monument featuring heritage (I hope that it has been fixed). It is worthwhile, pilgrims or not, stop to discover it. It has guesthouse, and (donation) hostel for the pilgrims.

  • Although took us inside, we get to enter at 12 h 30', are guided tours every hour although it is not very well detailed. There were only 4 people, costs 4 E each. The monk who teaches it gives all kinds of explanations, and the monastery is beautiful, with its 2 cloisters, Church etc.. If you go here you must visit it

  • Beautiful and peaceful. An interesting insight into the history of the area as well on the tour. Excellent gift shop with relatively inexpensive camino gifts if you're willing to carry them the rest of the way.
  • We arrived at the monastery, doing the Camino de Santiago. We did the guided tour to see the monastery and we loved it. The visit was great thanks to the Friar who showed us the monastery. It lasted about 35 minutes, but we became very short.

  • Beautiful place. The visit to the monastery is worth. Pilgrims hostel continues the tradition of only donations and not charge for making use of it.
