Avenida Jaume I, Salou
(4.5/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Lined with shops, restaurants, bars, and palm trees, Avenida Jaume I is an oceanfront avenue for the Catalonian town of Salou. Admire the street’s ornate buildings and their intricate facades, running from the old town center along the sea. Kick back and people-watch alongside the large decorative pool, or grab a bite to eat at one of many steakhouses and fast-food restaurants. Follow the road as it leads you to a monument to St. Jaume, the namesake of the avenue, and further to a large fountain that is often synchronized with music. For families with younger members, there is a children’s play area available. • It seemed to me that it was part of the promenade. It has fountains and monuments along the way. It is a wide promenade bordered by Palm trees. It differs little from others on the Mediterranean coast

  • We were 3 days ago and the truth is in a month that it is not summer and you can not enjoy it 100 * 100, but cannot be said to be bad pass. To my personally what is Salou I loved it.

  • Salou is the tourist center of the Costa Dorada. Its major asset is its large beach of fine, golden sand, and its large promenade (Passeig Jaume I) shops and restaurants. And it's on the great walk that we cruised while listening to the wonderful background sound of the waves of the Mediterranean caressing the golden sand of the beach Llevant. The main thoroughfare is lined with majestic Palm trees.
