  • Añana Salt Valley well worth a visit if you are by Vitoria. Guided tour 1 hour you explains how salt was extracted in the past, while you walk along the Valley, interesting for adults and fun for kids

  • Without guided tour, see you no interest to the site (even if some of the attendees has been documenting, see difficult the level of guides). We must get some time before the visit: installation is in the town centre and the area does not have much capacity parking Web page explains the diferententes types of visit and bought tickets. We must pay attention to the language (euskera, Castilian, French,...) in which the visit develops before purchasing tickets! We (several adults and two children from 8 to 11 years) did the general because he was the only one who had tickets available when we call to book. It consists of a one hour tour accompanied by explanations of a guide to salt exploitation. The guides are young people with promotional gifts that liven up the visit with historical, cultural details and anecdotes. In addition, they respond questions with comprehensive explanations. The route is not accessible for disabled. It is highly recommended for young children because they always have some "posed" and also enjoy it. Before or after the visit, it is convenient to check out the shop for various products marketed. It is advisable to visit a day accompanying the weather conditions as the tour is outdoors. Only salt exploitation is done in summer, with which you can see "live" as they work. This season you can enjoy also the saline Spa. Anyway, if it is in autumn, guide simulates how it works and even allows any child to participate in any work.

  • We went to make the visit without many expectations and the truth is that we left happy. We took the option to visit guiada+cata+spa for a very good price (less than €10). Travel by the salinas is appealing and instructive, the tasting is original and the saline spa to put hands and feet very curious. I highly recommend it.
