  • People close to Salamanca, (place of birth of my mother) has a rich history for the famous battle of the Hill of Salamanca, but there is much more to tell, almost is not population, so nothing more to this area.

  • If documented one before you go is a spectacular visit, especially if you have any of the books that explain the course of the battle. According to many historians it is practically as it was the day of the battle, except for some small changes. You can visit to foot or on bicycle. There are information panels at the places key Carbajosa leaves a Greenway on the ancient route of the railway and you can start from there to Salamanca. Then enter you one the itch to read about what happened there, it was one of the battles that exalted Lord Wellington, which he considered the best (saving Waterloo)
