  • City round was halted momentarily if you round and tourism,. You couldn't spend a very lovely old church intact. It is near the monastery of San Estevan is the location of the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury.

  • This is a really lovely little church. There is something special about old churches, especially the smaller ones. This one has a nice plaza around it that you can stop in for a coffee.
  • Salamanca treasure trove of temples of all eras. It occupies a special place in Romanesque churches and the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury is considered to be the oldest, built two British monks back in the year 1175, shortly after the assassination of the Archbishop of Canterbury (d. 1170). This same church relates the tragic history of enmity of the two local clans, as a result of which it found their sons famous townswomen Mary Brave. The Church of Sao Tome is still valid, despite the venerable age of it are regularly attended mass.
