Ieronimus, Salamanca

4.8
A permanent exhibition on the history of Salamanca’s cathedral and the diocese, Ieronimus is located within the medieval towers of the New Cathedral, an attraction in themselves, worth climbing for the views. If you’re intimidated by the steps, keep in mind that tour groups stop frequently for pictures so there is plenty of time to rest. Check online in advance to time your visit to hear the bells from up close. Don’t miss the video simulation of the damage caused by the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. • It is the second time I climb to the Tower, inside the Cathedral from above roofs and is wonderful. A very different to any other visit. Bellissima

  • It is the best view of Salamanca. Shows beautifully the city and Cathedral. A ride that is worthwhile.

  • 3.70 euros for a fabulous time and a different approach to the Cathedral. Should not be subject to Vertigo, and fear the stairs. A jump in time and a great view! Be at the top at the time where the bells, guaranteed thrills!

  • BEST TOUR EVER!! Amazing view of the roofs of the cathedral and... its nave from the top arches level!! If you are in Salamanca you must take it. Additionally, super value for very little money
  • Definitely my favourite place in Salamanca. Best sightseeing position, construction, atmosphere and architecture resulted in one of the best turistic sites I have ever been. Try to go there while it`s dark outside.
  • A must visit
  • In addition to teach enough history and be a visit quite enjoyable and interesting, lets see Cathedral old and new from the heights, so you save such a visit. Views of the city of Salamanca are unbeatable. Before the Cathedral, go here, you won't regret.

  • As advisable as a visit to the Cathedral itself. Much of Salamanca is seen from the top. Visit is not included with the entrance of the Cathedral, you have to pay for it separately. It is not accessible with baby chairs, let them down or out.
