Green oasis in old town. Many birds, beautiful trees, flowers and shrubs, go quietly on a bench down after all the impressions in the old town.

The place is a small paradise in the middle of the hustle and bustle in which contact with vegetation and be calm. The shade of the trees and the views from the top of the wall makes this place a must visit site. It also has much to do with the Celestine books lovers can enjoy doubly the site.

In a city you dry and warm, always knows well through un ratito "someplace cool and beautiful. This place is a garden with an important cultural history with connection to the city of Coimbra. A nice place to take some photos for souvenir with a view of a part of the city. Recommend.

  • Not big, but very beautiful garden near by the Salamanca University, big diversity of trees and flowers
  • Great little garden hidden in a corner of the old town
  • Beautiful garden in the middle of the city, perfect for couples. And you should definitely read something about the story which lies behind the garden.
  • . Bring your loved one and a padlock A charming renaissance garden with shady areas for the summer. Open from 10 am until sunset - don't get locked inside! The young (and not-so-young, I guess) have taken up the Italian habit of locking a padlock to a wrought-iron well in the gardens, to signify their everlasting love. It's a small garden, with literary overtones - a statue of la Celestina is just by the entrance. It can get crowded. You might like to try instead the Park of the Jesuits: Parque-Huerta de los Jesuitas - a little further away, much larger, less frequented, and with benches to sit and eat your sandwiches for a change. A 10 minute walk away. Well, perhaps 15! But worth it. .
  • Beautiful place and a nice sightseeing. Watch out of your child when you are next the wall.
