  • The Castle dominates the entire city and the surrounding valleys, you can feel the history in these places that have seen the evolution of the Punic Wars and the military of Hannibal. Is easily accessible via train and train station with a little bit of effort you can even walk to the Summit. Free admission!

  • During our visit to Valencia we devoted half a day to explore Sagunt. Located 25 km from Valencia comfortably reachable within half an hour by train from estacio de norte. Passing from the old part of the city to the Jewish quarter (juderia), you reach the first-century Roman Theater (entrance free), then take the road that in five minutes arrives at castillo (free admission). The fortress is located on top of the hill that rises near Sagunto and is the 8th century built on a Roman settlement, it was later conquered by the Arabs Muslims who remained there for more than 500 years. Remain the walls and some buildings as well as a wonderful view. Well worth a visit.

It is free although they can't enter with dogs, the castle remains standing walls and little more, but the greatness that is and the views that have worth, so the Roman Theatre is a shame because they have been covered with marble and original not seen hardly anything, but is interesting to your visit, then visit the old town and take a beer and you have the morning pitch jajaj...
