Interact with dozens of wild animals on an exciting safari ride at Safari Zoo. The zoo houses over 600 animals in both enclosed and free-roaming areas. Explore the 3 km (1.86 mi) safari route from the comfort of your own car or on the zoo’s safari train. See giraffes, zebras, and monkeys in the open air. Attend a lion show to learn techniques for working with and feeding these big cats, or for the chance to have your photo taken with a lion cub. • The poor animals live in small cages. The Lions and the Tigers went to walked in the ring in the small cramped cage. Elephants were completely disrupted. It's not the way it should be in a zoo. The first part was ok. Sad, but Ok.

  • We first visited the zoo safari last week because they had recommended it to us. Liked our 3 year old son, part of the safari liked us, but part of the zoo could improve enough, facilities are small and outdated. What seemed to us to be over is the price, 2 adults and a child of 3 years living €45.

  • Great ride through Safari with many animals and the driver stopping and feeding them at different spots for photos. Then he drops you off at a walk around bit which has a playground, cafe, gift shop and loads more animals. Like the Lions, Tigers, Elephants, other types of Monkeys and many more big and small animals that you can think of. Takes a good hour and a half to see them all. Food and drink are very expensive. Just for 2 cans of pop (soda) was €5. So I'd bring my own in a bag. Other than that we really enjoyed seeing so many animals. Great on not so sunny days.
  • Great little Safari Zoo. Drive around first section and mix with the animals. Don't stop for the Baboons though as they jumped on our car. No damage. At the end there is a walk about section of the zoo. Be sure to visit the goat section and pick up the baby goats for a cuddle!
  • My baby loved to see all the animals as there is good variety. Unfortunately its very run down and the animals have very little space. One baby monkey clearly had its hand bitten off and bones were showing, in the safari part, we alerted a worker. (Only 4 people work, from what we saw, at this zoo including the cafe worker, which we thought was very strange.) I was happy to pay the price for tickets. We agreed the price is acceptable if they use the money for upkeep of the animals but sadly we didnt get that feeling. We are not animal specialists but i would feel much better if an organization or specialist could take a visit to see if everything is ok as i suspect unfortunately that it is not.
  • You can drive your car through the safari. Lot if different animals. Monkey are jumping on the car. Pretty good fun
  • Poor quality Zoo, animals do not look well looked after, Not worth the entry price for what it is, very dissapointed and I've visited a lot of zoo's, my rating 2/10
