Nature / Park
Take a walk or bike ride around Lagunas de Ruidera, and then hop in the cool water for a refreshing dip. As you float in the tranquil lakes, gaze up at majestic red bluffs dotted with small evergreens. Explore white water rapids, thundering waterfalls ending in placid aquamarine pools, and underwater caves of emerald water shaded by the rocks. Hike up to the lookout point for views of the oasis and mesas in the distance. Bring along a picnic to enjoy lakeside--locals enjoy the manchego cheese and jamón plentiful in La Mancha. Extend your visit by staying at a shady campsite alongside the rapids, or in one of several antique La Mancha windmills that have been converted to hotels. • The visitor information center leaves much to be desired, recommended us to visit the cave of montesinos, was a Thursday and was closed, I understand that only open on weekends, after making the journey could not see it. The Park is beautiful can with the car in the gaps that you want. Next time I'll go more advanced spring to this more lush vegetation...

  • Amazing water color, seemed to the Caribbean. There are several lagoons followed. Unfortunately there is plenty of water. Looking forward to come back and visit them in more detail.

  • The blue tuquesa of the lagoons is incredible. All are beautiful and not be which choose. The jump of the sinking, the castle of Penarrolla,.. .etc etc. Handles days are needed to explore them calmly. He likes scuba diving also is a very interesting site. I've dived in the hung and the lagoon of King. The springs and the bull points under water are amazing... the sunken trees as snowed by lime waters... seem otherworldly.
