  • I visited round this week and there heard of Acinipo first. I decided to visit her, but I was about to cancel due to the little information I found. It is located at the top of a hill, is bigger than I could have imagined in principle, and highlights is the theatre. Their seats carved into the rock of the mountain are magnificent, the baths have them to imagine and nothing more apart from the views. I arrived until they opened (10 h) but the door was entreabieta and a very nice let me pass. "For that you will wait if you're inside," he said. My questions, he told me that the Roman city reached its maximum splendor between the l-lV desp. of J.C and heaps of stones had not made the archaeologists to define the buildings, but the owner prior to the expropriation, in order to work the land. A real penalty to imagine an entire city destroyed irreparably by ignorance or... maybe by the need.

  • Penalty schedules that has (very important before calling the Ronda tourist office if you do not want to find the closed site) in addition to the current state, barely preserved a domus, baths and the famous theatre, one of the best preserved of the Roman hispania. A shame because this abandoned and lost.

  • If you like history or want some fabulous 360 degree views this is worth the drive. If it's not open just climb the fence. There are old Roman baths (termas) and the amphitheater (teatro). Learned lat...  more »

  • Amazing to walk around these roman ruins with no one around. Free to enter. Not many visitors. A brilliant secret. You can even walk on the stage in the old theater.
  • Historic, although some guidance and restoration is required.
  • The phone provided by Google NOT is correct. You should call the Office of tourism of the Junta de Andalucía in round: 952 87 12 72, for possible schedule changes. The schedule is correct 17-9-2016. The most interesting is the theatre. The cavea was preserved because it is excavated in the rock, using slope of land Similar in size to the Malaga, but Acinipo has rebuilt the stage. Hopefully can be used as such, as they do with those of Malaga, Italica and Baelo. The rest of the site completely in ruins. Impossible to reconstruct.

  • The only thing interesting is perhaps the theatre if it catches you pass go to see it is very interesting, but but only the part that comes out in photos and some stones left standing

  • Easy to reach, do not charge entry, very interesting to see, but it is not taken care. A treasure without protecting or completed discover.
