El Tajo, Ronda

(4.9/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
The town of Ronda seems impossibly perched atop El Tajo, a 130 m (427 ft) canyon yielding views at once spectacular and a little bit frightening. Completed in 1793, the Puente Nuevo spans the gorge, its old age lending it splendor, while making the prospect of crossing slightly unnerving at the same time. If you’re up for a hike, walk the path from town down into the gorge and pass under this bridge, the tallest of three. Stop in the bridge’s small museum, detailing its history and that of the town. • Round is of itself a lovely city where will look it... its streets... shopping... the houses full of plants and flowers... But it is impossible to stop admiring the Tagus River... a dazzling precipice where runs, there underneath the Guadalevín River... For those who love the covered you can down stairs to see the river more closely... Adorable the restaurant which has a terrace on the slopes of lush vegetation... It's also worth visiting the plaza de Toros (although I am not a lover of this sport)

  • It is a charming city and the views of a formidable and beautiful nature. It is a quiet town with some wonderful walks on top of an impressive cliff.
