  • Not only the visit to one of the oldest Bullrings, also the friendliness and professionalism of its staff.

  • The RMR (real Maestranza de Ronda) is the oldest Stuerkampfarena Ronda. Unfortunately there was no bull fighting at the time we were here, but also the pure tour the arena is impressive, in particular the possibility to visit the "background", so the horse stalls of the Picadors or the (very limited) stables of the fighting bulls. The Museum is also worth a visit.

  • A wonderful place for lovers, not only of bullfighting, but history. It is impressive to step on the coso and wander through its walls. The Museum is excellent. There are that visit it yes or Yes, although should of be free or at a price more cheap. Tourists arrive in multitudes. But you have to see it.

  • Plaza de toros mais antiga da Espanha.
  • Ronda's bullring, in the Plaza de Toros, is the oldest in Spain. It is quite splendid. The neo-classical interior comprises two storeys with Tuscan columns. There is also a bull-fighting museum and, every September, the Goyesque bullfights take place in the bullring. The three-day feria y fiestas de Pedro Romero were inspired by the great friendship that existed between Francisco de Goya and Pedro Romero, the great bullfighter - if one can call someone who slaughtered over 6000 bulls great! Nonetheless, he is regarded as the father of modern bullfighting.
  • Love or loathe the idea of the Corrida this is the perfect place to visit. It will either leave you astounded or vindicated but either way will give you some perspective on why bull fighting existed and what it means to the culture of this part of Spain. Look out for the pupils of the resident horse riding school parade gracefully in the arena. The gift shop had some really nice things that you mostly won't find in the general tourist shops so this is worth a visit on its own.
  • Interesting history of the ring. These places are usually brought to life best with a local guide rather than an audio guide or just reading the boards yourself.
  • The museon quite interesting but the plaza is the most.
