  • The mirador de la Alameda del Tajo leaves you shocked and short of breath. Views that seem taken from a movie, sublime.

  • Is a sentence to contemplate the landscape round emblematic par excellence, which many people travel from far away to contemplate in peace, and be with a man that is there permanently, then we saw him four days morning and afternoon, with recorded music an amplifier and a mixing board, which makes loud forcing all who are there to hear him non-stop. The music will be heard by all the gardens and the viewpoint, to over 100 metres, the seems to play an accordion, which is the only thing that is not heard. This DIN is required to bear it all who go there without the City Council do nothing to remedy it. It is insulting for allowing a beautiful place is seen acoustically contaminated in this way and the respinsables do nothing. It is one thing to play an instrument and other organize a traveling disco without any permission or authority to do so, the less respect or consideration that would happen if anyone us take trumpets and played it without rhyme or are? A real penalty and a real shame.

  • We made Ronda part of our trip in June while in Spain as some Friends recommended it. We strolled around the center of town and came upon this beautiful park. I would have stayed a lot longer had we not been a Family of 12 traveling together. The views are breathtaking. There are lots of spots to rest, walk, read a book, listen to music, relax and of course, for taking souvenir photos. If one is in Ronda, stop here for sure. You will thank me later.
  • A park full of fountains which is a great place to relax out of the sun. And of course there are the magnificent views over the cliffs.
  • Wonderful food and spectacular view from the terrace!
  • Lovely park to have a quiet walk and relax.
  • . A must-see park with a view. There are four major attractions to this lovely, typically Spanish, park right in the centre of Ronda. Firstly, the wonderful, shady, greenery. Palms and all sorts of beautiful trees and shrubs with benches to sit and contemplate as you listen to the fountains. Then there is a small aviary with ducks etc. for the children to coo over, as well as the children's playground at the end. And then there is the view. Or rather: The View. The View. To appreciate The View in all its glory, you need to step out onto one of the little "miradores" - the viewpoints at the very end. Most people, even those with vertigo, feel fairly confident in doing this, as they have waist-height railings. Until they realise . . . Until they realise that most of them are just suspended over the void, with nothing underneath them. :-) All depend how much faith you have in Spanish civil engineering and builders. But this is a MUST photo opportunity. In front of you a magnificent range of mountains; in winter you may even see a little snow sparkling on the top. If you peer down, you will see below the beautiful Vega of Ronda, the fertile plain, with a pretty winding country road. When you have taken your fill of the view (or have been overtaken by vertigo), turn towards the left and start walking. You go in front of an amazingly ugly public auditorium and then take a little alleyway bordered by small trees, each with a plaque below. Peer down and read them: they say something like this:"We were both born in May 1997". Families bought the tree to commemorate the birth of a child - sweet. If you continue down the path you will come to the bullring, the Parador, and the Puente Nuevo. Good views from there too, but nothing like what you get from the miradores in the Alameda del Tajo. .
