  • The Sant Pere Priory Church is the main parish of the city of Reus. It started the work in 1512 and was inaugurated in 1569. Is dedicated to San Pedro, that is the pattern of the city. Is of style Gothic late formed by a ship only of proportions slender, of forty and five meters of long by fifteen of wide and twenty and two of height. The apse is polygonal seven-sided and with radial chapels, the ship is also made with vault. In the last two sections of the nave stands the Renaissance choir. There are four stained glass windows in the side walls and seven in the apse, all of them current, back to 1940. The ancient, Gothic, is destroyed with the fire of the war civil. The main façade of the building is Renaissance, divided into two bodies: the bottom opens the door of access, reduced dimensions with respect to the whole. The great rose window is located in the upper body. The Bell Tower, also in late Gothic style, is a tower of 62 meters of height, of hexagonal plant, divided into six bodies. In its interior, there are several shrines and sculptures. Many works of art are well maintained. Recommended visit.

  • This very well maintained, has frescoes, but the stained glass and the absis are well worth a visit. It is simple and elegant, it also has very good sound
