Gaudí Centre, Reus

(4.5/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
Gaudí Centre, a museum dedicated to the architect Antoni Gaudí, educates visitors about his designs. The first floor displays the only handwritten Gaudí notebook in existence. The second floor features his innovations in organizing space. The third floor explores his architecture as a “universal language” through an audiovisual presentation as well as touchable displays. You can also learn about late 19th century Reus, where Gaudí grew up, at this museum. Consider visiting even if you aren’t an avid Gaudí fan, as you can take advantage of the local tourist office located in this building. • The Gaudí Centre this located in a building modern with three plants in which can see them works of Gaudí in models, sculptures and audiovisual that you explain as was his career. Visit it is very creative and helps you to understand a little more their way of seeing things, also if you walk through the city you can see many modernist houses even to go inside, you have to request it in advance, as it is the case of casa Navàs.

  • If you switch from Reus and want to understand (without becoming crazy) Gaudi and modernism Catalan drop by a couple of hours. Well thought out and interactive museum for children. Then maybe there is also the desire to turn to Reus and see start 900 houses. of course it's a bit off the tourist track and to go there on purpose you must just be passionate
