  • One of Modernist Architect Domenic y Montaner's gems. A cross between modernism and gothic revival. Huge oriol window. Amazing stone carvings and columns. Downstairs is a very upmarket bedding shop  more »
  • Modernist building for shop clothes downstairs and the home of its owner on the two upper floors in your home. Work of domènech I Montaner that worth a visit.

  • The Navàs House was designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and is one of the most important modernist buildings of the city of Reus. It was built between 1901 and 1907 in the heart of the city, in the plaza Mercadel, corner with calle Jesús. Domenech i Montaner projected to Joaquim Navas a building that housed the new housing and the establishment commercial of his client with an imposing facade of stone and with a Tower located in the corner. In 1938, during the Civil War, destroyed this slender Tower and the original stepped Crown. You can visit Saturday to 10,30 o'clock, 11,30 h., 12.30 h., on reservation at the tourist office, with capacity limited to 10 people per group. Price of the tikcket of 10 euros. The Casa Navàs is an example only one of its kind, since it retains virtually all of the elements as it was at the end of its construction: lights, furniture, embroidered tapestries, home linen, apricots on the balconies for holidays, blinds and fabrics of silk on the walls.

  • Great opportunity to see first hand a sophisticated and well conserved modernist house.
  • Spectacular for architecture lovers. Beautiful House very well preserved and great tourist guide. I felt like a little expensive and more taking into account that they are taking pictures. Despite this it is worth to be visited, why 4 stars instead of 5.
