  • It caught my attention the extent of the ruins. In general, as in this type of sites, the ruins are walls of 80 cm of height, which tend to have little impact. Worse in Juliobriga you arrive and find the remains of the forum where you can recall how they were its wide streets. Until you find the columns of several meters. All this on a hill with beautiful views over Reinosa and the mountains that surround you. There is a Romanesque church in the village of 12th century (Santa Maria), with a belfry and two campaigns that you can upload and... to touch them, to the delight of the children (thank you for patience residents of Retortillo by stand each other...) THE MUSEUM IS FLIPANTE. NO OS LO MISS. €3 adults, €1 children. The girl who we attended, made a guided visit to the Museum quite professional and very didactic and entertaining. The recreation of the Roman villa discovered in Juliobriga (House of the andirons) is simply stunning and delicious for those who love this stage of history. The recreation of the cubiculum, kitchen and triclinium is prodigious real, takes you to those quarters without any effort of imagination. I REITERATE THE PERSON THAT PROFESSIONAL LEVEL WE RECEIVED AT THE MUSEUM IS WORTHY OF MENTION

  • It is a very interesting visit and can be performed with very young children. Reconstruction of the Roman House is fine and the explanations that accompany it (both the screening and the Guide) very good. It is advisable to go even with very young children.

  • The visit of the replica of the domus and of the Museum is what really pay, since the facilities foreign is can see by free. It is bad but could use it a little better. They say that there is guided but not really so, information is missing more.
