  • A very nice site where do routes, with lagoons and beautiful landscapes, personally we did the short route to the small pond, but to the next, we will make that one of the great, which are two marshalds of ida and two back, and because it did not give us time to do it also, as is us toward afternoon, and we went with the little guy , but for the next no doubt fro going, somewhere cool but with many people walk, by narrow sites. Even so, worth worth...

  • I've been visiting this natural wonder as a child and still it continues to surprise me. This time I went with my four year old daughter and I loved to recall my childhood with her and see her enjoy all the environment. I stand all the way very well, I recommend to go on family for children from 4 years. Some more escaped stretch but everything quite affordable. In this rather dry season by the lack of rain but also has its charm. The tour is 10km round-trip. You Park well though if you arrive later than 11:00 it will cost you to park. The commuter train drops you off next to the beginning of the route, puerto de cotos. 100% recommended

  • It is approximately one hour of gentle ascent makes it easier to route. It is a beautiful route with a landscape of high mountain at the end. The problem is that a pilgrimage seems on weekends if you are not much madruga.

  • A beautiful place to go hiking! Beware, in the winter months the place is covered in snow!
  • An extensive national park which can be lots of activities, mainly mountain marches. The main problem is the large crowds because of the proximity of Madrid. Therefore, if possible, it is preferable to try to avoid the weekends, bank holidays summer and Christmas if you want to enjoy nature in peace.

  • A lung for nature lovers and mountain a few kilometres from Madrid sports. More can ask for. For me, the most beautiful is the northern slope with Valsain pine and the upper Lozoya valley, between the long rope to the South and Peñalara northward. Madrid I only visit occasionally, but if you lived in this city I think it would be all the weekends in the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama

  • Some great routes. You have toilets, dumpsters, parking lot and is well signposted hiking. From here you can climb to the peak of Peñalara. Area with protected fauna, must not leave the trails.

  • I live and work in these mountains for more than forty years. It is a friendly and emotive, saw many values, some undiscovered and other very deteriorated. His biggest problem is overcrowding because of the proximity to the Madrid conurbation. We need protect it with more extension and promote more respect and a management and regulation more strict and adequate. Best to visit it on weekdays and with a companion who knows it.
