  • Always liked the mountains, from smaller, but this place changed me life, made me see that the small details that there is in the deserve to see them and share them. If it is true that during the holidays the exploited this and there are too many people. But the days in which little influx there is quiet and the sound of animals is remarkable. I hope that this site will follow same or better protected. Thanks to those who make it possible

  • Ideal to go with your children. There are several routes to do, more or less complicated. The typical path is to the lagoon of Peñalara, but then you can do several more from there. Preferiblemete go to early spring or now in autumn, since it is an area with very little shade. Always wear sunscreen, sticks much sun. The truth that the views are very cool and if you are lucky enough to see eagles flying, children just love it.

  • A very nice site where do routes, with lagoons and beautiful landscapes, personally we did the short route to the small pond, but to the next, we will make that one of the great, which are two marshalds of ida and two back, and because it did not give us time to do it also, as is us toward afternoon, and we went with the little guy , but for the next no doubt fro going, somewhere cool but with many people walk, by narrow sites. Even so, worth worth...

  • It's a beautiful place for an easy hike. Once you reach the summit of Peñalara keep going as there is an interesting pass with large boulders that makes it fun for newbies. It's a protected area so don't strand away from the path and please don't litter. There are several fountains which come from the river going down the mountain, you can use them for drinking but still try to bring plenty of water. Additionally it's better to rent a car as the bus service is highly unreliable, we were stranded for 5 hours and it's not the first time.
  • Beautiful park near Madrid. With a large fauna diversity.
  • A beautiful place to go hiking! Beware, in the winter months the place is covered in snow!
  • Just half an hour away from Madrid, you can be above 2k :)
