  • It has been the most disappointing visit I've ever had. The monument is a marvel, but the guided tour with the Carthusian doing it (a high adult glasses with dark brown hair and gray) has been a disgrace. A sow half time to see it all, explaining in tone bass, listless, not communicating anything, without any kind of interest and much less explanatory in the speech. On the other hand, the responses received to the bringing you two questions has been painful and very unkind. El Paular is a complex monument that requires explanation so they understand the importance of the work of Juan Guas, the peculiar Baroque Tabernacle... we haven't had time to contemplate it properly, nor to us explained properly. Not to say that at the end of the tour the Guide has not allowed us more time to visit. He claimed that he then had another visit (being that ours was at 5 pm, and still had half an hour for the following 18 h). A shame that not be a properly learn the heritage that belongs to us all.

  • A gem of the 15th century. Unpredictable visit in sierra de Madrid. The guided tour of one of the Benedictine monks of the monastery is unbeatable, with good notes of humor and historical anecdotes.

  • Good guided tour. Magnificent pictures of Vicente Carducho. The exhibition of artists of the saw surprised us pleasantly.

  • A visit that can not miss in your itinerary of the sierra. The site is beautiful and Nice. The monastery is in itself a master class of architectural history, beginning in the 13th century. The visit is guided by a sympathetic and knowledgeable monk who makes it immensely enjoyable. The store sells a strong and tasty herbal liqueur

  • A marvel. The building, its wonderful surroundings, access roads by the natural park, the altarpieces of the interior, the stalls... It's worth the time. And the guided visit is enjoyable and highly recommended, given by one of the Benedictines of the monastery I think it is little known for the impressive which is

  • Beautiful, restored monastery that you must see if you're going by Rascafría. By the time I went, could not see it on the inside but on the outside is beautiful and the setting is idyllic.
