Finca Villacreces, Quintanilla de Onesimo
(4.6/5 based on 35+ reviews on the web)
Offering a comprehensive cellar tour and wine-tasting experience, Finca Villacreces sits in a 200-year-old pine forest, one of the area's most picturesque locations. The very first vines were planted here in the 1200s--decades later, the estate was converted into a monastery. Today, the winery covers 115 hectares (285 acres) along the Duero River, which protects the vines from adverse effects of frost. The estate's signature wine is aged for 14 months to develop a full-bodied taste with smoky hits. Reserve your tour in advance by e-mail or phone. • I chose the picnic on wheels since I have visited other wineries and the process I know him pretty well, it was without a doubt the best choice. It is a beautiful, very quiet and well maintained, staff very nice and helpful farm, visit bike is super, you go at your own pace and you can enjoy more than the place. Great basket, rich cheeses and sausages, the same wine. I would recommend it for couples and friends. It would repeat delighted.

  • We have been this weekend with some friends on Saturday by visiting the winery and Sunday doing the picnic on wheels. Both activity and the other has been very good. The visit to the cellar very well explained, with detail and wine tasting very well. You put a small snack and tasting of two wines, Finca Villacreces, Pruno. As for the picnic on wheels, a pass! We've had us very well. It is a short route, but this very well. You can be from 11:00 until 14:30. They give you a picnic to do in the garden of the finca is very full. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • They gave us a box experience of wine and tapas in Spain. After visiting several websites. We decided to visit Finca Villacreces almost 200 km from our House, by the elegance and careful Web page. From here we congratulate them for it. The spectacular and unforgettable experience. Vanesa guided us during the visit a wonderful girl, explains everything so clearly and as well that no leads you to ask anything. She invites questions and answers them very well. It shows that you know what is talking about. In addition to the visit at foot of vineyard and the different rooms of the winery in chronological order there is any surprise more... At the end of the visit with our pack experience we had a tasting of two wines, Finca Villacreces Pruno real good! (produced in the own wine cellar) and a rather generous snack (cheese flower of Esgueva and Guijuelo chorizo), with slices of bread town and peaks or colines surprised us with a tasting of an oil rich Aragon (which you could buy there too). Tasting this very well organized and neat put people individually in the groups that have gone each, i.e. If you are two you put a pair table you. If you are a group of four because they put two tables together for the four, but not mixed people in the same table. In addition to the guided tour, they have other options (experience Artevino, picnic on wheels, gourmet menu). It is best to visit the website. Experience with the five senses... Yes, still there senses sharpen... you should go check it. I recommend this Winery, by its beautiful environment, quality, cleanliness, elegance and excellent treatment to the client. Also belongs to the Group Artevino and cellar buy wines from other denominations of origin. Rioja, Toro, wheel. You can visit with children. If you want something elegant, good, beautiful and different... Finca Villacreces.
