  • Hosted at cazorla, I decided to visit the shrine of Tiscar, located 13 km from Quesada. Inside Tiscar Virgin Patron Saint of Quesada presiding over the altar. We can find some religious images like the one of the Virgin of the Carmen, and highlight a picture of the procession of the Virgin of Tiscar painted by local artist of Quesada, Miguel Zabaleta, who has a Museum in that population. In the church there is a small stand to buy souvenirs. Leaving the sanctuary, at his feet lies the cave of water or of our Lady, where has that the Virgin appeared. He is accessed by a small tunnel and after sales, appears a huge rock, where a cavity of it you are a small image of the Virgin, which has flowers, candles and ex-votos of the faithful who profess her devotion. To access this area there are different levels and have to be careful. There is a kind of Grotto with waterfall, and a small path around the rocks. This interesting visit. Not suitable for people with disabilities. Are free both visits.

  • The environment is of the most beautiful of the sierra de Cazorla. The water cave, binds picturesque excavated between mountain with river where appeared the Virgin of Tiscar with his own image for the more brave climbing on a steep wall to let their promises. The spot that comes with it is simply fantastic and not to be missed is the walk up to the Castle, something that impresses and the slope you can eat in the restaurant of the shrine to regain energy. The environments more beautiful of this beautiful sierra.
