  • in a hamlet abandoned, seven homes restored to recreate the traditions and activities of yesteryear. It is successful. An important asset: La Oliva/Tefia and Antigua or Betancuria/Tefia roads turn out beautiful routes.

  • The Ecomuseum in Tefia is absolutely worth a visit. Here the Canary culture and life on the island of Fuerteventura, on the basis of 7 restored farms is very clearly the visitors and realistically brought near. Historically lovingly furnished rooms, stables and garages show visitors the hard life of the peasants of Fuerteventura. A point deduction there for animal husbandry. Front, I have observed no cruelty or ill-treatment, as they were described here! At the time of our visit, was both the donkey groomed, the chain length for the mules (Dromedaries) seemed appropriate. (I upload pictures) Man should not forget that it is farm animals. However the animals should be powered better, my opinion with food and water on hot days. Some water cost nothing... Then all have fun on this really worth seeing Ecomuseum also hopefully again. The Museum I liked really excellent!

  • Scattered around the grounds of this museum you can find several cottages and gradually come to know more and more about the history of Fuerteventura, living styles, crafts, etc. Not too big and very nice. Expect nothing spectacular; the museum visit consists of walking around the grounds and looking around in the houses and on the heirs around the cottages. There is a very small bar at the entrance where you can order something.

  • Thats a real interesting museum about farming and craftsmanship on the island. Historic, authentic buildings. Inside you will find ladies, producing typical products with historic techniques and machines, that you can buy to. As in all museums on Fuerteventura all in Spanish Language and the ladies do not speak a word English. So, thats a petty, they can not tell you anything about there interesting techniques. If you have a good command in Spanish, they will very friendly show you more and let you try yourself.
  • €5 per adult 7 building to look round not much else took 40mins
  • Interestingly, more than what I expected.
